I know it's Thursday.....at least they both start with a 'T'....Today's destination is Milan, Italy, one of the fashion capitols of the world. During my visit there it was about a week or so before Fashion Week, so the city was almost at an eerie calm (assuming before the storm of shows, celebrity sightings, and after parties!). It felt like we had a lot of the sights to see all to ourselves, a nice change from some of the other busier cities from earlier in our journey. I did go through a little bit of allergy issues, and my Bf experienced some (read: alot) of mosquito issues. A few of really neat sights to see include the oldest covered mall (filled with lush, designer shops), the Duomo, Lla Scala (Opera house) and even a big castle!I can 100% vouch for the shopping in Milan. It. Is. AMAZING!! Such beautiful shops and so many different styles, there really is something for everyone, with lots of European flair!

travel tuesday - Barcelona, Spain Part II
So I promised you Part II of the Spain experience. You ready?! Here it is!!
There are so many amazing looking buildings to look at, parks to stroll though and palm trees to relax under. While walking around in an older neighborhood we saw lots of unique boutiques and shops and came across one that happened to be having a super fantastic sale. Let's just say, that was one of my first European shopping experiences, and Holly likey!!

travel tuesday - Barcelona, Spain Part I
Todays' destination is Barcelona, Spain. My Bf and I were there for about 5 days. We spent 3 of those days in a small beach neighborhood just outside the city, Badalona. It was such a lazy, relaxing and sunny time on our trip. We spent most of that time at the beach, which has such rich sand thats very light in colour, perfect for that in between your toes feeling. Amazing food, sangria and tapas anyone? Why, yes please! Oh, and no, I didn't eat at that McD's (1st photo). I have tons of photos from this amazing place, hence the Part I, so the first group are more beach related.
