We ventured out for a little skating one evening about 2 weeks ago or so, the first time for this winter. I was a little rusty, but still got out there. It was so much fun....until I fell!! I ended up with a giant bruise on my left knee, all around my knee cap. It hurt :( It's a bit embarrassing being the one falling down, when there's little kids skating circles around you, but hey....I didn't cry! I gave up a little bit after that, seeing as I had a small golf ball on my knee. Gotta love winter fun!
Update: My bruise has finally disappeared!
Skating can be deadly!!! Go for a sleigh ride on Grouse and have hot chocolate!! Much safer :)
